Presentation Instructions

Notice for Presenters of Paper Sessions:

  • Short Talk Session
    • You are requested to give a 2-minute talk at the short talk session held in “Evergreen Room I” that is different from the poster exhibition room (Peak and Pine Rooms).
    • Please prepare your short talk slide in a PDF format up to 2 pages, including the paper title, author list and affiliations. The silde format is free.
    • For each session, we will make one PDF file including all short talk slides, and you will be able to use your slide in the file shown on a screen using our PC and projector.
    • Please upload your short talk slide to the presentation file submission page (http://www2.infonets.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/sasimi/cgi/add_file.cgi) by March 2 (Monday).

    NOTE:

    • Only PDF file is acceptable. Other file formats, such as MS PowerPoint, are NOT acceptable.
    • If you miss the deadline, you will have to give your talk without any slides.
    • The file name has to be the paper number, such as R1-1 and R1-2, shown in Advanced Program (http://www2.infonets.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/sasimi/program/).
    • Please be sure that your slide is written in English. If you use multi-byte characters such as Chinese character, it may cause layout disruption. We recommend to embed all fonts in your PDF file.
  • Poster Exhibition Session
    • Please prepare an A0 size poster for the poster exhibition session held in the poster exhibition room right after the short talk session.
    • You can pin a sheet of A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm) poster to the area of 900 mm (Width) x 1500 mm (Hight).
    • Paper title, paper number, author names and affiliations should be printed on the poster.
    • Please put your poster on the poster board in the poster exhibition room before your session and keep posted until the end of the workshop. You can put your poster from 8:00 AM on the first day of the workship.
    • Please stay around your poster during the session of your paper. PCs/printers/projectors will NOT be provided for posters.
